Your network configuration data, CMDB records, and any other information used by the AI never leave your environment. There are no API calls to any external AI service or cloud provider. The AI engine is loaded onto the appliance during initial setup and runs locally from that point on.

Once the model is loaded onto the appliance during initial setup, which can be done via an offline transfer, the AI operates with no cloud dependencies. All data stays on your infrastructure. This makes ConnectMyAssets AI suitable for critical infrastructure, defence, and industrial networks that require no external network access.

Can the AI make changes to my network?

No. The AI is strictly read-only by design. It has access to targeted data sources within ConnectMyAssets, configuration history, CMDB records, CVE data, compliance reports, but it has zero ability to execute commands, push configurations, or make any change to your network infrastructure. This is an architectural constraint, not a permission setting. Even if an adversary compromised the AI query interface, it could not use it to affect your network.

The AI has read access to the data stored in your ConnectMyAssets instance: your device inventory and CMDB records, configuration backup history, CVE and vulnerability data associated with your devices, compliance check results, and network topology information. It does not have access to credentials stored in the vault, to your broader corporate network, or to any system outside of ConnectMyAssets.
